Spiced Lamb Pita Sandwich

  • Ingredients

    • 4 pita breads
    • 1 lb ground lamb
    • 1 small onion, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp ground coriander
    • 1 tsp ground cumin
    • ½ tsp cinnamon
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • ½ cup Tal's Tahini
    • ½ cup Tal's Toum
    • 1 cup mixed greens
    • ½ cup diced tomatoes
    • ¼ cup chopped mint leaves
  • Method

    • In a skillet, cook the lamb with onion, garlic, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain any excess fat.
    • Warm the pita breads.
    • Spread a layer of Tal's Toum inside each pita. Fill with lamb, mixed greens, tomatoes, and mint leaves.
    • Drizzle Tal's Tahini over the fillings.
    • Serve immediately with a side of lemon wedges.
